YES I am still alive

I know I know I know to those who have harassed me about not updating my blog. I just suck at it! I haven't scrapped in ages. Have not even felt the need until lately. Here's what has been going on in a brief format.

1. Been in custody issues with my ex.

2. Went to San Francisco

3. Went to Chicago

4. Went to Michigan and got to spend Tami's 40th birthday with her. Carolyn and Kim went with me and check out Tami's blog for all the details.

5. Leaving for Hawaii on Saturday

6. I am a Facebook addict too which consumes too much of my time.

I will scrap again!!!! I actually bought some paper in Michigan. Tami has been motivating me to get at least SOMETHING done. I will have to make a Hawaii book for sure when I get back and make one for my aunt whom is taking me. I'll try to be better but I make no promises!

Don't give up on my yet! ***in my best Arnold voice*** I'll be back!

One Hour Layout Contest at Creative Scrappers

I ACTUALLY joined in the one hour layout contest over at Creative Scrappers. They had a time problem so we actually had two hours. Two hours would SEEM like a long time but of course I had to have my eyes and ears on the tv to watch the OSU v. Pitt game. Sadly OSU didn't continue but they put up one great fight! GO COWBOYS!!!!!

So here is the layout I did during pacing the floor during the b-ball game. I was going to go back and change some things but alas I am just too lazy. I sure love playing with Glimmer Mist though!! It's a fast way to cover that bare chipboard!.

I have had these sitting around and thought I would finally post them.

The first is just a card I popped together. If you know me, you know I hate to make cards.

This layout was done with a sketch I had laying around that Zarah made and had sent to me some time ago. Not much of a double page layout girl but it was a nice change of pace.

Wow!!! How do I ever thank you for taking so much time out of your day to update and make my blog look pretty!!!! I hated the way it looked but I never took the time to do anything about it nor did I know how to do much. THANK YOU MY SISTA!!!!!! I owe you BIG time!!!!

I broke in...

and WHEW it sure was dusty!! Thankfully I hacked in with all my cleaning gear handy and gave this place a good once over. I had to remodel a bit, but I'm thinking Cheri won't mind
and if she should well

Keep it clean in here now, Cheri!! I won't be back for a bit, so make sure to dust every once in a while...lol

Don't go into Shock.......but......

I actually scrapped some layouts. While I know it is shocking it felt good to get something done.

The first two layouts are of my kids over a year ago at my mother's pool one day. My daughter just jumped in with her clothes on and my son thought that was so funny. Not sure if I "love the layouts" but they are done.

These I liked how they turned out. I love the Crate Paper Prudence Collection!!!!!! Gorgeous papers! The two layouts are similar but one is for my friend and one is for my albums so I figured it didn't matter if they are alike.

AND guess what I actually went to the local scrapbook store and bought a a Maya Mist and a couple MORE bottles of Glimmer Mist (because I soooooo needed more - LOL).
